Media needs to stop disrespecting the fuck out of Adrian Martinez

Alright I said it. The media needs to stop disrespecting Nebraska’s QB, Adrian Martinez. This dude has been putting the Huskers on his back all year long and the numbers prove it. And just so you don’t think I’m over reacting here is the proof of the hate:

If I have to pick out of 4 QB’s in the Big Ten and Adrian Martinez isn’t on the list in 2021, who in the hell is giving me some shit choices?! I don’t even want to get into why Adrian deserves to be on the list just know he does:

The Huskers are 2-3 so yeah, maybe Adrian wins some games he shouldn’t have lost and he’s on the list. They do say winning solves everything but really BTN? You’re going to do our boy like that? Gosh I hate you and your shitty BTN+ streaming.

Huskers Football Drinking Game – Northwestern Week

Saturday’s in the fall center around football and drinking in Nebraska and with a football team like the one the past few years there’s sure been a whole lot of drinking going on and it hasn’t been the fun kind.

So why not make it a little fun? I came up with a little game that I and I hope Husker fans across the state will play as well.

The rules are simple, if you see anything on this list happen you take a drink:

Take a drink any time a swing pass is completed for no gain. Take a drink for a defensive penalty. Take a drink for a dropped pass.

Take 2 drinks if a ball is over thrown. Take 2 drinks for a punt of 20 yards or more. Take two drinks for a sack given up.

Take 3 drinks for a false start. Take 3 drinks for a punt of 10 yards or less. Take 3 drinks for a missed FG. Take 3 drinks if the Huskers get a sack/INT

Finish drink if the Huskers fumble/INT. Finish drink if the Huskers score or give up a score.

Take a shot when the Huskers win.

Take 2 shots (finish bottle) when the Huskers lose.

If you have any more ideas and want to add to the drinking game let me know on Twitter @cornhuskerdude

Is Scott Frost on the hot seat?

Heading into Nowledge vs Nerds in the Battle for NU, the scarlet and cream are 2-3 with wins over Fordham and Buffalo. Special Teams are more of distraction on the field than off the field and the so called Offensive Guru can’t seem to make anything work against Big Ten opponents. So the question is five games into 2021 are Husker fans about to watch the “same movie again”?

It’s safe to say Nebraska fans and Coach Frost are tired of watching the same movie again. It doesn’t matter whether the movie is on the field or a coaching change. Husker fans are fed up and they aren’t even asking for conference championships, they just want a bowl game.

As you can tell Husker fans are already looking for reasons to help the university fire Frost

The question I ask you, at what point are Husker fans ready to fire Frost? It truly does feel like we are watching the same movie playing out in Lincoln minus a little plot twist and that’s a defense who is scary as hell

Get your blood pressure medicine ready, Nebraska plays Northwestern this week

If history is any indication, a lot of booze will be drank this weekend in Lincoln. Saturday night NU and NU will battle it out in the Battle for NU and I’m betting NU will win in a nail biter and honestly that’s a pretty safe bet if you ask me.

Since the Huskers joined the Big Ten, every Nebraska vs Northwestern game has had my heart racing a million miles a minute. 8 out of the last 10 meetings have ended within each team being within one score of each other so the fact that my heart isn’t ready for this weekend is understandable.

This year Nebraska heads into the game as an 8 (has moved up to 10) point favorite vs the Wildcats. I don’t think Nebraska will cover this week. I believe we will be stressing this one out until the very last second. Like we always do against the Faux NU:

There’s just something special about the Battle for NU. Maybe it’s my (our) own personal bias due to the magic that happened between RK3 and Westy on that Hail Mary pass but man I love this game.

If anything it would just be nice to get a win this weekend even if we have to do it the old fashioned way. Either way Husker Nation will be drunk this weekend. It just depends on whether or not we will be a happy drunk or a sad drunk. My prediction for this weekend: Huskers 21 Wildcats 20
